What is the expected weather during our Summit?

Welcome to Florida summertime! You can expect hot days and plenty of humidity., with high's in the low to mid 90's F (around 32 degrees C). Also be prepared for rain, though we are crossing our fingers for clear skies!

Do I have to wear my lanyard?

Yes! You will receive a lanyard at registration. You MUST wear your lanyard to each event, with no exceptions!

Do I need to check into the Summit?

Accepted Answer

Yes! After you check-in at the hotel front desk, head to registration, located in the THE MAJESTIC BALLROOM AREA to let us know you've arrived. Hotel and MK staff will help direct you to the conference registration location. The registration desk will be open from 3 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. on Monday, August 17.

Will all meals be included while at the summit?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You will not need to make any meal purchases while at the summit. Dietary restrictions have also been factored into the menu items. For a full breakdown of what you'll be enjoying during the summit head to DINING on the SMC website. If you would like to purchase meals or room service outside of what is provided during the summit, that will be at your own expense.

What time do I need to be at meals?

You should be at all meals and events at the scheduled time. For all meal (and other event) times, review THE EXPERIENCE.

Will I be accommodated if I have dietary restrictions/food allergies?

The SMC website and app is a one-stop location for all things related to the conference! Your schedule of events, packing lists, hotel information and support as well as FAQs are all located there.

Will I have time to get ready in between general sessions and the evening events?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Events are spaced to ensure you have time to get ready for evening events. Please note, if you need more time than provided, plan accordingly! Steam/iron your outfits in advance and have your hair and makeup looks planned!
